The customer produces very
special packaging materials for semi-conductors. They
have their production factory in Singapore and export
their commodities to outside countries. Due to the nature
of the commodities, they require very low temperatures
and very sensitive handling during transportation in
order to maintain product quality.
Originally, the customer had arranged for FCL reefer
container shipments from their Singapore factory to
their end users in Indonesia. However, they actually
desired to place stock at the closest location to the
end users as possible and then arrange for small lot
delivery by reefer truck. |

We proposed the use of a reefer stowage
place at our bonded warehouse in Jakarta in order to
fulfill the desire of the customer. This also provided
the following additional merits:

The goods were kept in bonded condition as their own
stock.
- As a result, the customer
could enjoy delayed payment of duty and tax.

Arrangement of frequent and small lot delivery was available,
improving their
service
to the end users. |
